Larry S. Pearson, 42, formerly of Clearfield, died Aug. 9, 1988 near Show Low, Arizona, of injuries sustained in a truck accident.

   He was born Aug. 7, 1946 in San Diego, CA., a son of Cecil S. and Helen Pearson.

   He married Susan Rowles in June 1967. The marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple. They were later divorced. He was reared and educated in Clearfield graduating from Clearfield High School. He attended Weber State College where he was a pitcher on the baseball team. He had worked for the Internal Revenue Service, Ogden, and Hill AFB prior to moving to Show Low where he was employed at United Parcel Service.

   He was a member of the Lakeside LDS Ward and was serving as executive secretary.

   He enjoyed all sports and was an active fisherman and hunter. He had two sons, two daughters and one granddaughter. Interment West Point Cemetery.
