I knew Kathy, she was a very nice person, I am at this site for the first time. I have been trying to find people I went to school with or lived by for years now. I moved to Portland Oregon I think in 81 and lost contact with everyone. I am so sad and was not expecting to find out such a sad thing like this. I wish I could have been in contact with her all these years. If her family reads this I want them to know they rasied a very nice young lady.
Kathy was my cousin. After her mother died, she lost contact with most of her family; I was trying to find her when I learned of her death. She was a sweet and generous person who had a tough life at times, but she seemed to find happiness in her own way in spite of that. I miss her.
Her parents, my aunt and uncle, lived behind our house in Sunset. I often would "baby sit" Kathy and thus I was close to her; I felt more like an uncle than a cousin! She loved music and found a great deal of fulfillment and happiness playing violin and other musical pursuits. I imagine she must surely be part of the heavenly choir now.
