Frank M. Barnes

Layton - Frank Merle Barnes, 41, passed away Saturday, Jan. 19, 1991, at the University of Utah Hospital in Salt lake City of a brain tumor.
 
He was born July 28, 1949, in Salt Lake City Utah, a son of Ferman Merle and Hazel Elaine Sandstorm Barnes.
 
He married (Glenda) Jeanie Gardner Dec. 2, 1971, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
 
He had worked for the Davis County School District as a Division Co-ordinator.
 
He was an active member of the LDS Church, served in many capacities such as Elder in the Layton 40th LDS Ward and served a mission in the Central Atlantic Mission.
 
He served seven years in the U.S. Army Reserves.
 
He lived his life to its fullest. He enjoyed sports including fishing and the outdoors. He was also very talented with wood work.
 
Surviving were his wife of Layton; two sons and two daughters, Brian F. Barnes, Paul S. Barnes, Stephanie J. Barnes, Nathalie E. Barnes, all of Layton.
 
Also surviving were his parents of Clearfield and three brothers, Michael Barnes, South Ogden; F. Richard Barnes, Mark Barnes, both of Layton.
 
Funeral Services were held Wednesday, Jan. 23, 1991 at 11 a.m. at the Layton 40th Ward LDS Chapel, 2250 East 2300 North Layton.
 
Interment, Clinton City Cemetery.
