OGDEN – Brent Holbrook Willey, 45, passed away suddenly, Saturday, February 24, 1996.
Brent was many things to many people and loving to all. Son of Joseph Glen Willey (deceased) and Arlene Holbrook Willey Clayson. Born August 7, 1950 in Richfield, Utah. Husband to Barbra Kleppe and Father to her son Carsten, and their daughter, Jennifer. Grandfather to sweet Paige. Brother to Jim Richard (Joe), Paul and David Willey; Darlene Willey (deceased), Peggy Martynski and Jolene Carlson. Friend to Step-father, Vern Clayson and his children, Lynn Clayson and Janice Snow. Uncle to many saddened nieces and nephews. The ‘son he never had’ to his father-in-law, Heinz (Germany), and friend to sister-in-law, Ursula and her husband and children.
Brent served his country abroad in Vietnam and Germany, where he married his soul mate on May 19, 1978. After 20 years he retired from the Army as a Master Sergeant.
Brent opened his arms to many, enjoyed fishing, and nature, knew how to repair almost anything and like his father, was very opinionated. Yes, Brent, it has been a very hard winter. We have loved you dearly.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 28, 1996, at 1 p.m. at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 North Washington Blvd.
Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park.
