I had Mr. Garrett for Math 2nd period my Senior year. I was the tall basketball player and Becky was the sophmore. I always left class late she came in early for 3 rd period. Becky was tall and in my West Point 1 st home ward. I thought she was cute and had a great smile. (as you can see in the photo) I wanted to get her attention and say "Hi". She would look away and act like she didn't see me and then I didn't just say "Hi Becky" to force the issue. I don't make this mistake anymore. I say HI to everyone. At the time a simple HI from a tall Senior would have made her day. She then made it common to look away and I never did say "HI" becasue she wouldn't look me in the eye. It is still my loss that I didn't say HI because if I had it would have then happened everyday and it didn't because it didn't start happening in the first place.
