Penny Trimble Higgs, 54, passed away on April 5, 2018, at McKay Dee Hospital.  She was born on March 23, 1964, in Ogden, Utah, to Bob and Sheryl Trimble.  Penny graduated from Clearfield High School.  She married Jeff Higgs but later divorced. They had one son, Colton Higgs.

Penny enjoyed boating, camping and going to the dunes.  She worked at IRS and then went back to work as a substitute teacher.

Penny is survived by:  her brother, Lake Trimble; her son, Colton;  grandson, Zyyler; mother, Sheryl Gunderson; stepfather, Bruce Gunderson.

She was preceded in death by: her father, Bob Trimble; her grandpa and grandma Berg; and grandpa and grandma Trimble.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, April 12, 2018, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior to the service at Leavitt’s Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah.

Inurnment will take place at Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah.
