David Ray Fuit - Class Of 1973

June 1, 1955 - January 24, 2015

David Fuit passed away on January 24, 2015. He was born on June 1, 1955 to Dean Albert and LaRue Martin Fuit in Ogden.

David grew up in Clinton City and has lived in Clearfield for the past 28 years. He loved pushing dirt for Ames Construction and he loved his association with his co-workers.

David married the love of his life, Kristie Stromberg, on September 30, 1985. Together they had three children.

David loved gardening and spending time on his EXide four-wheeler. He enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, especially hunting. He also loved driving his tractor on the farm.

David is survived by his wife; daughters, Amy (Mark Gross) Butler, Sunset, Jennifer (Craig) Parkin, Clearfield; son, Travis (Lisa) Fuit, Clearfield; mother-in-law, Betty Stromberg; sisters, Cheryl Fullmer, Clinton, Karen (Dan) Widdison, Clinton, Cindy (Arverd) Taylor, Clinton, Gale Smith, Clinton and eight grandchildren, Cynthia, Kaiden, Kailee, Cyneshia, Tanayah, Kyler, Kenley, and Greyson.

David was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and sister.

The family would like to thank Ames Construction for all their emotional and financial support. The family would also like to thank Dr. Vincent Hansen and his staff for all their love and support during David’s past seven years, IHC Hospice and staff, Liberty Dialysis and Claudia and Keith Love.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, January 30, 2015 at Leavitt’s Mortuary 836-36th Street Ogden, UT. Friends may visit family on Thursday from 6:00-8:00 pm at Leavitt’s Mortuary 836-36th Street Ogden, UT and on Friday from 9:30-10:45 am prior to service.

Interment at Leavitt’s Aultorest Memorial Park by Betty and Charles Stromberg graves.
