Kennith Gerald Dunlap - Class Of 1965

"Cubby"

Passed away on November 13, 2014 in Wasilla, Alaska with his family by his side. Gerald was born in Ogden, Utah on May 19, 1947 to Kennith and Verna Dunlap.

Gerald grew up in Clearfield, Utah where he attended Clearfield High School where he played football and got his letter and graduated in 1965.

 

On April 16, 1968 Gerald married his best friend Glades' sister Georgia Henderson. They had two sons Kennith Jason Dunlap born 1970, Clifford Shane Dunlap born 1972 of whom they were both very proud. Gerald and Georgia were later divorced but remained friends.

Gerald joined the United States Army Reserve served six years and was later honorably discharged.

He began working with Delta Airlines and moved to California. He then worked for P.S.A. And then US Air later retiring from American Airlines in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Gerald married Noreen Colacoff and soon after were divorced.

 

He met Lenore Tornetta in California while working at US Air. He moved back home to Utah where he finished his career.

Gerald and Lenore were married in Wasilla, Alaska where they build a new home. Lenore was by his side while he left to be with Jesus. She took great care of him.

Gerald is survived by his wife and soul mate, Lenore Tornetta Dunlap, Wasilla, Alaska; son, Kennith Jason (Natalie) Dunlap, Alaska; Clifford Shane (Tracey) Dunlap, Utah; one grandson, Bryson James Dunlap, Utah and one granddaughter, Ashley Dunlap, Alaska. Two brothers, Clifford (Linda) Gregory, Layton and Bobby Gene Dunlap, Hooper, Utah. Two nieces, Misses Michael Landon Jr. (Sharree) and Misses Mark Mitchell ( Natalie) and three great-nephews and three great-nieces.

Memorial services for Gerald will be held at Calvary Christian Center in Roy, UT (4737 S. 1900 W.) Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 10 a.m. Full military honors at 11 a.m.

Gerald was laid to rest in Wasilla, Alaska on November 18, 2014. This memorial is for all his friends and family that could not attend in Alaska.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Verna Christene Hearnsburger Dunlap November 2002, father Kennith Dunlap March 2012. Gerald loved sports and fishing very much. He is no longer suffering. We all love you very much. God speed.

See where we lost another Clearfield High Class of 65 graduate. Gerald Dunlap passed away in November last year in Alaska. He sure was a cutie. RIP. Looks like you led a great life and found happiness and fulfillment.
