Daniel Lawrence Garcia, 56, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 1, 2015.  He was born on September 7, 1958 to Manuel and Celsa Garcia in Ogden, Utah.

 
He graduated from Clearfield High in 1976. 
Daniel was a man who loved his sisters and brothers dearly. 
Daniel was a man who loved his cats.   
Daniel was a man who loved music. 
Daniel was a man who loved his partner. 
Daniel  was a man who loved his family Wendover trips. 
Daniel was kind to us and all the people who were lucky enough to know him. 
Daniel will be very missed by all. 
Daniel knows heaven is real because he is there with God now. 
Daniel is survived by his mother, Celsa Garcia; by five sisters, Lola Martinez, Stella (Joe) Ybarra, Alice (Dave) Chavez, Lucy (Brent) Cummins, Mary (Kevin) Sprague; and two brothers, Manuel Garcia Jr. and Jim (Louise) Garcia, and several nieces and nephews. 
He was preceded in death by his father, Manuel Garcia, Sr; partner, David Van Dyke; brother-in-law, Marty Martinez; and two nephews, Derek Cummins and Tyson Chavez. 
Per his request, no formal services.  A family gathering will be held at a later date.
