In Memory

JoAnn Gallegos (Moss) - Class Of 1979

Our beautiful JoAnn lost her battle to the disease of addiction on July 5, 2015.

She was born October 5, 1961 the third child of Joe C. and Beatrice Larsen Gallegos. She is the sister of Jolene (Dana) Treseder, Joey Gallegos, Jeff (Robin) Gallegos, and Jerry Gallegos.

JoAnn graduated from Clearfield High School where she was a Falcette. She attended OWATC where she studied to become a medical assistant.

JoAnn married Darryl Moss and from this union four children were born; Travis, Sara Jo, Tyler and Troy. After 11 years together they divorced.

In 1996, she met Victor Burleson and they brought a beautiful boy, Kaden Burleson into the world. For the last five years JoAnn has shared her life with her best friend, Edward Lemmon.

She enjoyed trips to Wendover with her mother and Harely Davidson rides.  She adored her grandchildren and loved spoiling them.  She was an amazing mother; she did everything in her power to make each of them smile.

JoAnn was a beautiful soul, always there to help anyone in need. She had a very loving and strong bond with her mother. She was her Mom’s rock. There is not a single soul will ever be able to take her place. Her smile was infectious, her laugh so contagious. Her eyes were so beautiful. She will be sorely missed. We all just hope that she is no longer in pain. May she fly high with the angels above.
Until we meet again, spread your wings, Momma!

JoAnn is survived by her mother, Beatrice Larsen, her children, Travis Moss (Alisha), Sara Moss (John), Tyler Moss (Kimber), Troy Moss and Kaden Burleson; her siblings, Jolene, Joey, Jeff, and Jerry; also her best friend and lover, Edward; 13 grandchildren who were her world, and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her father, Joe C.
