Scott Lorne Trujillo - Class Of 1986

Scott Lorne Trujillo “Scotty”

Our Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, Cousin and Friend of Auburn, WA Passed away after a courageous battle with kidney cancer on July 23, 2015 in Mt. Vernon, WA at the age of 47.
Scott was born on January 16, 1968 in Ogden, UT to Albert John Trujillo Sr. and Lucille Mascarenas Trujillo. He graduated from Clearfield High in 1986. Scott worked for Smith's and for the last 17 years has worked large format construction for many companies including SAK, Bailey, Berschauer and Walsh Construction. Some of the projects in and around the Seattle area that Scott’s handprints are on include: the SeaTac Airport Expansion, the Bellevue Marriott, Auburn Regional Medical Plaza and Parking Garage, Emerald Queen Casino Parking Garages, GRCC Expansion, and the Westfield South Center Mall Expansion. Anyone who has ever worked with or for Scott can attest to his work ethic, jobsite cleanliness and meticulous attention to detail for the work in which he was responsible.
Scott's cooking skills are legendary; renowned for his breakfasts and Mexican cuisine. Favorite dishes include his famous salsa, enchiladas, and jalapeno poppers (they’re to die for). Our taste buds will miss his food; we can imitate his dishes but they will never compare to the real deal. Everything he cooked was based on his experience; he left no written recipes, because all of the dishes he made were in his head.
Scotty will truly be missed but never forgotten; he had a unique smile that would light up a room. Everyone knew him for his sense of humor, larger than life smile and contagious laugh. For Scott, friends are friends for life. Scott loved Cannon Beach, OR almost as much as he loved the love of his life -- his wife, Moe.
Scott loved playing sports and played on numerous teams throughout his life. Scott had a favorite team for almost every sport; rooting for the Utah Jazz, NY Yankees, and unfortunately the St. Louis Rams (love you Scott). Scott loved camping, spending time in nature and time with his family, friends and grandbabies.
Scott is a member of the LDS Church; a member of the Auburn Washington Mill Pond Ward, and grew up in the Clearfield Utah Second Ward.
Scott is preceded in death by his Parents and Brothers: Albert John Trujillo Jr. and Carlos Cirilo Trujillo. He is survived by his Wife, Maurine “Moe” Irvine-Trujillo; Sons, Mike Gallegos, Nick Gallegos, and Peyton Trujillo; Daughters, Brittney (Alex) Blank and Amy (Pete) Rupprecht; Grandsons, Cylis, Mason & his newest grandson yet to be named; Sister, Angela Jones Cooper; Brother, Nicholas (Heidi) Trujillo; and over 50 Nephews, Nieces and Cousins.
Celebrations of Scott’s Life will be held on August 15th, 2015 for his North West friends and family at the LDS Stake Center at 1820 F Street SE, Auburn, WA 98002 from 3:00 to 7:00pm and September 19th, 2015 for his Utah family and friends will be at the Cherry Farms Park, 2100 E. 8100 S., South Weber, UT 84405 from 1:00 to 5:00pm, with a pickup softball game to follow. Always a happy and genuine person. Even 59million years ago, when I knew him. The world is a lesser place without him.

That was really nice Brian.  I always thought he was so nice and reading his obituary it just sounds like he led a lovely life.  Must be so hard for his family to lose him so young....
