Peggie Lyn Farrell Arnold

Peggie Lyn Farrell Arnold, 67, loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, returned home to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, November 1, 2015.

Peggie was born in Brigham City, Utah to Geraldine Toombs and Charles Colin Farrell. She lived in Willard, Utah until the age of eight, when the family moved to Clinton, Utah. Peggie attended Clearfield High School where she was an accomplished singer, with leading roles in Carman and Lily. She graduated from Clearfield High School in 1966. She attended Weber State College where she sang in the Melloaries, performed many solos, and was a soloist with the male chorus. This is where she met her future husband, David Lee Arnold. Upon David’s return from his LDS mission in Italy, Peggie and David where married March 19, 1970 in the Manti LDS Temple.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many callings.

Peggie was a cashier at JC Penney’s for ten years. She owned and operated Peggie’s Porcelain Dolls, Associated Travel and Apollo Institute. She had a Doctorate in Hypnotherapy. She was very talented and gifted. She loved singing, make porcelain dolls, crocheting, knitting, embroidering, cross stitching and traveling. But most of all she loved her family.

Peggie is survived by her husband of 45 years, David; four children, Amy (Randall) Rackham, Ogden; Emily (Don) Adams, North Ogden; Alex (Coral) Arnold, Syracuse; Andrew (Alyssa) Arnold, West Point; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her mother, Geraldine T. (Charles, deceased) Farrell, Clinton; four sisters, Pamala (Dennis, deceased), Day, Roy; Patty Farrell, Clinton; Penny (Daryl) Rundberg, Laramie, WY; and Angela (John, deceased) Handrahan, Keizer, OR. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles, and her grandparents.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 6, 2015 at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. The family will meet with friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Willard Cemetery.
