Jerry Thompson - Class Of 1967

Jerry died on his 67th birthday, November 27, 2015.  As a child he loved building and racing go-carts and getting into mischief.  He loved fishing, watching football and basketball, collecting coins and sports cards.

Jerry served in the Army, he was a disc jockey working at several radio stations, he patented the “Official 6thMan” for the NBA, starting with the Utah Jazz and he owned a company called, “Zach’s Dad”.

Jerry is survived by his wife, RaNae; two children, Zach (Michelle) Thompson, JaNaee Thompson; six grandchildren and one sister, Greta Stanley.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother and two sisters.

A Viewing will be on Thursday, December 3, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Leavitt’s Mortuary, 836 36thStreet, Ogden, Utah.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 4, 2015 at 11:00 am at Leavitt’s Mortuary.  Friends may visit with the family prior to services from 9:45 to 10:45 am.

Military Honors will follow the services.

Interment at Leavitt’s Aultorest Memorial Park, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah.
