Jeri Lynne Douglass - Class Of 1985

"Goodness Graciously"

Jeri once said that at the end of her time on earth, she wanted her "Book of Life" to be entitled "Goodness, Graciously - Living with Trials and Achieving Gracious and Positive Results" Well done Jeri Douglass, you have inspired many with your example!!!

She was born December 27, 1966 in Ogden to Gerald L. and Phyllis A. Douglass in Ogden. She attended Davis County schools and graduated from Clearfield High School in 1985.

Jeri was determined to live her life on her own terms and those terms centered largely on being positive, humble and following the example of her mother to seek influences of grace, faith, humor and beauty in her life. She and her mother were so dear to each other and it was an inspiring relationship to behold! She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved the Savior.

Health trials prevented her from staying in any one line of work for any extended period, but everywhere she worked, she was loved by those she associated with. Her greatest service was the loving care she rendered to her parents. She loved animals, children and art.

Jeri is reunited with her dear parents, sister, Joyce and countless cats, and dogs that she loved. She passed away in the wee morning hours of Sunday October 30th. She is survived by two sisters and two brothers: Kathie West, Jena Wilson, Kirk Douglass (Annette) and Phil Douglass (Traci). Scores of nieces and nephews loved their "Jer".

Her Funeral will be held Friday, November 4, 2016, from 2-3 pm with a meet and greet at 1 pm at the LDS Roy West Park Ward, located at 4530 South 2535 West in Roy, Utah.

Special thanks her many care givers over the years and all her kind neighbors at the LaDawn Apartments in Roy. She was loved and served by so many people and she likewise loved and served in her uniquely "Jeri" way.

Services entrusted to Myers Roy Mortuary.
