Don David Mitchell - Class Of 1971

Don David Mitchell 63, of Roy City, Utah passed away unexpectedly on Monday. He was born May 25, 1953 in Ogden, Utah to LeRoy and Lenora Mitchell. Don attended Clearfield High School where he studied German. Later on he attended Ogden Vocational School to become certified in HVAC, where he was a very hard worker. He worked in the trade for over 30 years, as long as his body would let him. 

He loved doing anything outdoors, especially camping and fishing. He competed nationally, with his brother Lee and family, in the handcart races from California to Canada. He loved spending time with his family, friends, and grandkids. He was always making new friends and was a very likable person. He will be greatly missed.

Don is survived by his wife, Nola. He is also survived by his daughter, Jennifer Smith; sons, David Price, and Curtis (Tori) Mitchell; brother, Gene (Carol) Mitchell; sister, Margie (Wayne) Warner; ten grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, LeRoy and Lenora Mitchell; son, Larry K. Mitchell; sister, Annette Rule; brothers, Larry Mitchell, and Lee Mitchell.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the LDS Roy 15th ward building 3100 W. 5080 S, Roy UT. A viewing will be held 9:45 to 10:45 AM prior to services. 

Interment in Clinton City Cemetery.
