Lyle Peter Veibell, 63, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2019. He was born December 28, 1955, to Victor Veibell and Audrey Stone Veibell. He graduated from Clearfield High in 1974.

He married Michelle Chinburg on April 30, 1977, in Monte Cristo, Utah. She preceded him in death on November 20, 1986. He later married Kristine Smothers (Beck) on March 3, 1997, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Lyle had a passion for Semi-Trucks and worked in that industry for many years finally becoming a Peter Built Truck salesman, which he loved. He also loved fishing and boating at Flaming Gorge until his health no longer allowed it.

He survived by his loving wife Kristine; sons Cole (Brandi) Veibell and Jeremy (Mindy) Smothers. His mother Audrey Veibell, siblings: Alan (Christine) Veibell, Christine Craythorne, Vicki (Bill) Wagner, Elaine (Rob) Littlefield, and three grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Intermountain Hospice, nurse Julie and aide Lisa for their loving and compassionate care.

There will be a viewing Friday, May 10, 2019, at Myers Mortuary 5865 South 1900 West, Roy, Utah from 6:00-8:00 PM. Graveside services will be held 12:00 PM, Saturday, May 11, 2019, at the Cornish City Cemetery, Cornish Utah.
