Michael LaThair Johnson - Class Of 1966

Michael LaThair Johnson, age 61, passed away in his home in Evanston, WY on January 9 of Colorectal Cancer. He was born in Ogden, Utah on June 4, 1948 to Ralph LaThair Johnson and Donna Jean Law.             Mike worked for the Evanston Police Department as a Sergeant, retiring after 26 years in 2006. He also worked for the Evanston Parks and Recs Department at the recreation center as the Gun Range Master. He taught Hunter's Safety Courses, coached little league sports, and also served as an umpire. Mike loved sports and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a Black Belt in Karate. Mike is survived by his wife Mary Johnson of Evanston, his father Ralph Johnson of Kaysville, Utah, Sons: Michael (Janu) L. Johnson of Clinton, Utah; David M. Johnson of Evanston; and Stephen(Lisa) Johnson of Evanston. Daughters: Kara (Ryan) Johnson of Clearfield, Utah; and Josie A. (Randy) Roberts of Clearfield, Utah. Brother Gary (Michelle) Johnson of Saint George, Utah. Sisters: Janis (Jack) Blue of Ogden, Utah; Pamela of West Haven, Utah; and Debra (Kevin) Blamires of Kaysville, Utah.     He was preceded in death by his mother Donna Jean.
