David Jory Sellers - Class Of 1993

David Jory Sellers, age 22, returned to his Heavenly Father, along with his brothers, Heath and Rick on Sunday, November 30, 1997 near Cortez, Colorado from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

He was born May 31, 1975 in Bountiful, Utah, the son of David Kim and Darlene LaTreese Laughter Sellers.Jory had lived his entire life in Clearfield and was educated in Davis County Schools, graduating from Clearfield High School with the Class of '93. He was a member of the LDS Clearfield 2nd Ward and served an honorable mission for the church in the Fort Worth-Texas, Spanish Speaking Mission from 1995-1997. He was an Eagle Scout. He loved to read the scriptures and was currently serving as Stake and Ward Singles Representative. He enjoyed hunting and golfing with his grandpa, uncles and cousins, and loved his family and friends. Jory was unselfish and always ready to serve others.

Surviving are his parents, Clearfield; one brother and two sisters, Kelly Sellers, Kimberly Sellers and Shannon Sellers, Clearfield; his grandparents, Donald and Joan Sellers, Bountiful; Bob and Lenore Foster, New Mexico; Harold and Afton Laughter, Las Vegas, NV; also surviving are a great-grandmother, Ethel Hepworth, Bountiful; numerous uncles, aunts and cousins and his sweetheart, Cydnee Morgan.
