Jerri Lynne Webb (Knowlton) - Class Of 1983

Jerri Lynne (Webb) Knowlton, from Layton, Utah, passed away Thursday February 18th, 2016 in the comfort of her home. The second oldest of four children, Jerri was born on November 8th, 1965 in French Camp, California to Gerald E. Webb and Toni L. Webb. Jerri had one brother, Edward Webb, and two sisters, Kathy and Karin Webb. The family later moved to Utah where she attended Clearfield High School, class of 1983, and where she met her loving husband, Michael R. Knowlton (age 58).

On July 23rd, 1983, Jerri and Michael were married at the home of her in-laws, Marlene and Richard Knowlton.  Jerri and Michael resided in the same home in Layton from the day they married until the time of her departure. Jerri had three beautiful children, her sons: Nicholas Knowlton (age 32) and Jason Knowlton (age 32), and her daughter Kimberly M. Richard (age 29). She also had two grandsons, Jaden M. Poole (age 9), and Jaxon R. Richard (age 3).

Jerri lived an extraordinary life and spent every hour thinking and doing for others. She loved spending her time doing arts and crafts for herself as well as for others. Every time there was an announcement for a new baby, she would spend countless hours making baby blankets and planning baby showers. Jerri also enjoyed cooking, baking, and those who knew her will always remember the hours she spent making salsa and jam for family and friends. Jerri is most remembered for her courageous and adventurous spirit. She enjoyed traveling to new places and experiencing new things. Her favorite activities included bowling, amusement parks, swimming, jet skiing, and quality time spent with her husband. Regardless of circumstances, Jerri would ensure that vacation plans were made and carried through.  

Jerri’s surviving family members include her husband Michael, sons Nicholas and Jason, daughter Kimberly, and grandsons Jaden and Jaxon. Other members include her mother Toni, her brother Edward, and two sisters Karin and Kathy. She is preceded in death by her father Gerald Webb, father in-law Richard W. Knowlton and grandparents: George E. Bushgen, Florence G. Bushgen, George W. Webb, Martha A. Webb.

Jerri’s departure was sudden and she was taken away far too soon. She will always be remembered for the kindness she bestowed and positive outlook she portrayed.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.    

The family asks that attendees bring a yellow or white flower in remembrance of Jerri. Friends are welcome to continue gatherings following the service at 60 S. Whitesides St., Layton, UT 84041 for a potluck and celebration of Jerri’s life.
