Anthony Tony Ray Horne - Class Of 1982

Anthony Tony Ray Horne, our father, grandfather, brother, and friend passed away March 13, 2018, due to complications following a sudden stroke at the age of 64.

Tony was born December 31, 1953, in Ogden, UT, to Daniel Ray Horne and Joan McCune Dwyer. He was raised in the Ogden area and attended Clearfield High School before joining the U.S. Army in 1971. Tonys station duties included The Azores and Colorado Springs, CO. During this time, he was blessed with the birth of his only child, Jenette Horne.

After his service time in the Army, Tony spent the majority of his career employed as an RV mechanic for Sierra RV. He was a favorite of many customers and was often requested by name for repairs and work due to this skill, thoroughness, and expertise. In his free time, Tony enjoyed watching sports, duck hunting, fishing, and spending time with his loved ones. He would light up and beam with happiness whenever his granddaughter entered the room. Tony will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and other loved ones following his sudden departure.

Tony is survived by his daughter, Jenette (Aaron) Johnson, and granddaughter, Ainsley of Tucson, AZ; sister, Paula (Russ) Lovell of Clinton; brothers: Michael Horne of Ogden; Steve (Kitty) Horne of Hurricane, UT; and Sid (Tanya) Dwyer of Hooper. He was proceeded in death by his father, Daniel Ray Horne; mother, Joan McCune Dwyer; and loving wife, Susan Fleming Horne.

A gathering a friends and family to Celebrate Tony and his Life will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2018, from 2 to 5 p.m. at 4574 West 5875 South, Hooper, UT.
