THE FALLEN HEROES OF CHS

Private First Class Paul Elmer Parker, of The United States Army, was Killed In Action  in The Republic Of South Vietnam on August 22, 1968. He was born on August 2, 1947. His hometown is listed on The Vietnam War Memorial as S.L.C. but we are told that he lived in Sunset.

Private First Class Danny Everett Hyde, of The United States Army, was Killed In Action on October 21, 1966 in The Republic Of South Vietnam. He was born on May 15, 1946. His hometown was Sunset City, Utah.

CHS Class of 1964                   


Sergeant William Glade Henderson, of The United States Army, was Killed In Action on June 8, 1967 in The Republic Of South Vietnam. He was born on January 5, 1947. His hometown was Clearfield City, Utah.

CHS Class of 1965


Coporal Henry Orlando Vigil, of The United States Marine Corps, Was Killed In Action in The Republic Of South Vietnam on August 15, 1967. He was born on August 23, 1946. His hometown Clinton.

Specialist 4 Rodney Birdell Yardley, of The United States Army, was Killed In Action in The Republic Of South Vietnam on November 27, 1968. He was born on August 29, 1945. His hometown was Clearfield.

Specialist 4 Rodolofo Jose Archuleta, of The United States Army, was Killed In Action in The Republic Of South Vietnam on December 7, 1968 (Pearl Harbor Day). He was born on March 12, 1948. His hometown was Clinton.

Private First Class Larry Don Garner, of The United States Army, was Killed In Action on August 12, 1969 in The Republic Of South Vietnam. He was born on October 10, 1948. His hometown was Sunset.

Staff Sergeant Nino Duque Livaudais, of The United States Army, was Killed In Action on April 3, 2003 in Iraq. He was born on March 30, 1979. His hometown was Syracuse.

Sergeant Michael Robert Lehmiller, of The United States Army, was Killed In Action on August 21, 2005 in Afghanistan. His hometown is listed as Anderson, South Carolina but he attended C.H.S. during his senior year. He was born on January 15, 1982. His father lives in Clearfield.

While stationed at Fort Ord, CA, I met 2 guys just back from 'Nam who served with Rodney Yardley. They said that he was a fierce machinegunner, with just a few weeks left before ETSing back home. I remember him as quiet and shy.
