The reunion was great! Its really a celebration of survival. I recognized almost everyone by sight and was really glad to talk with most of you. Good to see you are doing well, and I fully expect to see you all again as time goes on. Stay strong and healthy.

Stev, Mark, and others on the reunion team, many, many thanks for all that you did. It was worth it in every way.

Jeff

It was good to see you again too Jeff.  I heard of some tiger muskie being caught at Newton Res.  If thats true I might drag a boat to the lake and go pester them.  As I recall, Newton is a small town so maybe I'll pester you on the same trip.

Hey John

Years ago they planted Tigers to control the perch that ate the trout. Its a standard agircultural reservoir that gets drawn down a lot in late Summer. It would actually be better managed as a bass fishery. There are people fishing up there every day but I don't know how the Tiger fishery is doing. I'll ask around.

You are welcome to pester me any time.

Jeff

There was an article in the Herald Journal showing a 45-1/2 inch tiger muskie caught in the reservoir. Took it witrh a fly rod and fly. They said there are many of them. Its catch-and-release only so you need a large net to keep the fish in the water, and pliers to go after the hook.
