Paula Jean Beech Tillotson was born on March 12, 1947 and passed from this world on September 21, 2006. She was a member of the C.H.S. class of 1965 and attended Weber State College. She is survived by her twin brother Paul (Jacquie Jones), sister Caren Syme (Larry) Miller, brother John O'Dell (Shirley), son Eric Robert Tillotson, and daughter Andrea Tillotson. She was preceded in death by her parents and son Mark Thomas Tillotson. She married Mark Henry Tillotson in 1974 and they were sealed in the Ogden L.D.S. temple in 1989. They worked side by side at Klenke Floral for thirty years.

Paul Beech (1965)
This was written by Paula Jean (Beech) Tillotson, CHS Class of 65 for the yearbook for our 40th Reuion! It’s hard to believe it’s been 40 years! After high school graduation, I worked at Lagoon, and then Carol Bywater, Durene Derouchey and I went to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, to work for the rest of the summer. What a blast! Then I went to Weber State for 2 years. I moved to Everett, Washington, where I was married and then divorced after 4 years. (One of those “Oh my hell, what was I thinking” mistakes.) Employment I’ve had: I have worked at Commercial Security Bank, Ogden, Empire Paper Co., Ogden. Salt Lake City Investment Corp., Salt Lake City, The Public Defender’s Office, and then Ogden, Klenke Floral Inc., Ogden. That’s where I met Mark H. Tillotson. And “Yes” I married “my boss” in 1974. I have 3 children: A son, Eric Robert Tillotson (37 years old) who is married to Candace Bexell. They have 2 boys, my grandsons Tyson Rex Tillotson and Cooper Mark Tillotson. They live in North Ogden. A daughter, Andrea Kae Tillotson (27 years old) who is happily single. She lives in Memphis, Tenn. and is a flight attendant for North West Airlines. A son, Mark Thomas Tillotson, (deceased at 17 years old, in June 1999, at Lake Powell) which was the most devastating and painful experience of my life! I have been blessed with my great friends of 45 years, Karey Jensen Perkins, Joan Thurgood Nealson and Carol Bywater Mcbee. “Here’s to great women, may we know them, may we be them, may we raise them.” Mark and I have been married for 31 years. In 1989 we were sealed in the Ogden Temple. We have done so many fun things together, we travel, cruise, golf, shoot trap, garden, and we still love a fun party!!! Mark recently sold his family business (Klenke Floral Inc.) and we are skidding into retirement. We have a home in Ogden and one in St. George (Sun River). We are really looking forward to some great fun times with friends and family. I’m very close with my brother, Paul. Remember him? “Sonny Beech” Ha! Ha! I have so many wonderful memories of C.H.S. I truly loved school. I had so many great friends. We all had so much fun at the football and basketball games, dances, Friday night dates, times at Hawkins, and the Frost Top. I‘ll always remember all the “cute hunks” at our school. Those days will forever be in my heart. I know we will have a great reunion. And I’m looking forward to seeing you all.
