Marjorie Sessions (Grover) - Class Of 1967 VIEW PROFILE

SYRACUSE – Marjorie Sessions Grover, 66, passed away Monday, December 7, 2015 after a long courageous battle with her health surrounded by her family. 

She was born October 29, 1949 in Billings, Montana the daughter of Don R. and Lois George Sessions.  She was a graduate from Clearfield High School Class of 1967. 

Margi married Clay E. Grover on March 7, 1967 they had two beautiful children, Stacy Strong of Syracuse and Chad C. Grover of Clearfield.  They later divorced. 

She retired from Hill Air Force Base after 32 years of service.  

Margi had a passion for her cats, ironing, being outside, baking cookies, and gardening.  Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, coloring Easter eggs, having sword fights, Nerf wars, and doing anything they could talk her into.  They are the light of her life. 

Surviving are her children, Stacy (Shawn) Strong, Syracuse; Chad C. Grover, Clearfield; grandchildren, Halen Strong, Chase Grover, Landon Strong, Cameron Grover, McKahll Strong, Corbin Grover, brother, Rodney Sessions, TX; sister, Donell Thormahlen, WA;  mother-in-law, Verlene Grover, NV; and a special daughter-in-law, Julie Robinson.

Preceded in death by her parents, brother, Brent Sessions, sister, Darlene Parry and father-in-law, Ernie Grover. 

Graveside services will be held Friday, December 11, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Syracuse City Cemetery.  Friends may visit family Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. 

A special thanks to the many healthcare personnel who cared for our dear sweet mother over the years.
