Richard E. Beesley, 27, died Dec. 15, 1973 at McKay Hospital of injuries sustained in an automobile accident Dec. 11, 1973. He was born April 19, 1946 in Ogden, a son of Earl Swan and Fern Berrett Beesley.

   He married Trudi Burbank on Dec. 15, 1967 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. At the time of his death he was assistant manager of People’s First Thrift Co.

   He was a veteran of the Viet Nam War and was a Seventy in the Roy 14^th Ward. He served two years in the South States mission for the LDS Church and was treasurer of the Roy Jaycees at the time of his death.

   He had two daughters. Interment Roy City Cemetery.
