Jerry Stoker - Class Of 1964

Jerry Lyngby Stoker, 18, Clearfield, died of an accidental gunshot wound Friday, Dec. 23, 1964. He was born March 15, 1946 in Ogden, a son of Lyngby Alvin and Carol Esperson Stoker.

He had resided in Clearfield his entire life and graduated from Clearfield High School, May 1964.

He was active in the Boy Scout program and was senior patrol leader and junior assistant scoutmaster for Troop 160. He had been to national Boy Scout Jamborees in Colorado Springs, and San Diego, CA.

He was active in the Clearfield LDS Ward and had received his Duty to God Award for church activities, had served as president of his deacon and teachers and was a priest at the time of his death.
