I know this obituary says, Joe, as I called him in school didn't come to Utah until '86. I can't explain that unless the numbers somehow got reversed. Not only did I know him in school but when I was in radio school at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, I ran into him there. He was an M.P at the main gate at that time. This was in 1969. After we both were out of the Marines we partied together some and that was when I learned to call him Pepe.---Larry Anderson
