Farrel Craig Barber
 

Farrel Craig barber, age 51, beloved father, son, brother and grandfather, passed away, Friday, June 1, 2001 at his home after an extra courageous battle with cancer.
 
He was born April 7, 1950 in Ogden, Utah, a son of Verl D. and Barbara Criddle Barber.
 
Ferrel was a life long resident of Syracuse. He graduated from Clearfield High School in 1968 and attended Weber State University.
 
He was very dedicated to his work where he received multiple awards, also enjoyed time with his family and friends, and he loved fishing.
 
Farrel served his country with the U.S. Army in 1971-1978.
 
He was survived by his daughter, Jennifer Barber, Syracuse; grand-daughters, Rylee Nichole and Mazie Star Barber, Syracuse; his mother Barbara Steele; grandmother, Noreen Criddle and a special Aunt Joyce Albister, Syracuse.
 
Also surviving were two brothers and two sisters, Chris (Kris) Barber, Syracuse; Kevin (Wendy) Barber, Morgan; Vonnie (Thomas) Henk, Eugene, Oregon and Barbara Anne Barber, Syracuse.
 
He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Tommy, father, Verle D. Barber, stepfather, Buck Steele, grandparents, Lacey and LaVora Criddle, Rulon and Hazel Barber.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Monday, June 4, 2001 at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 North Fairfield Road. 

 
The family would like to express a special thanks to those who helped out at Hill Air Force Base.
