Neldon Ray Bybee - Class Of 1967

Neldon Ray Bybee, 65, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2015.  He was born on October 8, 1949, the son of Earl Ray and Nelda Amelia Byington Bybee.  He was born and raised in the ogden area and moved to Sunset, graduating from Clearfield High School in 1967.  He enlisted in the US Army in 1968 and volunteered for Vietnam and served one combat tour, being honorably discharged in 1971.

He was a member of The Church of jesus christ of Latter-day Saints. 

He worked for many years at H.A.F.B. as aWAREHOUSE technician and then transferred to Davis – Monthan A.F.B. in Tucson 12 years ago.

Nelson loved spending time with his family and enjoyed camping, fishing, and will be remembered for his sense of humor.  He was a hard worker and was looking forward toRETIRING in May. He also loved his pet kitty.

Neldon is survived by his daughter, Tavonnie R. (Richard) Wieber, Taft, CA; three grandchildren; mother, Nelda Shepherd, Ogden; brothers, Lynn R. (Susan) Bybee, Clearfield and Gary J. Bybee, Sunset; sister Lila (Parley) Fronk, Ogden; as well as a friend Mary in Patagonia.  He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Bybee; sister, Mary Harshbarger; and brother, Oscar Bybee.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. FRIENDS may visit with family on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.  Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.

Wesley M. Smith (1967)

Neldon I'm sorry on your passing bud, but I guess it's a journey we the class of 67 will all have to make sooner or later, love to your family. Wes Smith
