I remember Jeannie as kind and caring.  I first met her in 7th grade.  We met at a party at Kathy Hull's house.  She was the only girl at the party who talked with me.  The way she looked into my eyes while I was talking made me think what I was sayingwas themost interesting thing shehad ever heard.  As time passed, I learned that was just Jean!

I reaad years ago that she passed but there was no other information about how until this "In Memory" comment by her sister.  Being shot by a stranger makes her death particularly sad to me.  Ijust can't imagine how anyone could do that to her.  Does anyone know whether the bastard who did it was caught or where it happened?

Jean was a very close friend of mine at the time of her death.  Our families lived close by and our children were best friends.  I knew her before. But mostly as Robert's wife. I have missed her sweet smile and friendship very much.  She was killed by a stranger.  It was on Skull Valley property in Nevada.  She and Robert had been camping.  He was not in camp at the time.  A 3 time loser was in the area and needed food, their truck, and a shot gun.  He shot her for them.  He as cuaght and was given life in prison without parole.

Her children were her life and they missed her greatly.
