August 23, 1945 – December 16, 2014

James Kenneth Huffaker, 69, passed away December 16, 2014 after a short battle with cancer.

Born August 23, 1945 in Ogden, Utah to John and Dorothy Huffaker, Jim was raised in Clearfield, Utah and married Colleen Bennett on August 18, 1967 in Salt Lake City, Utah. After serving in the US Navy and receiving a Master's degree from Utah State University, Jim worked for Thiokol Corporation and the College of Eastern Utah. He enjoyed photography, oil painting, playing the guitar and collecting rocks and antiques.

Jim is survived by his wife Colleen and five children, Alison (Clint) Hansen, Moses Lake, Washington, Amy (Shane) Strebel, Harrisville, Utah, Jason (Staci) Huffaker, Syracuse, Utah, Megan (Jeffrey) Evans, Clovis, California, Matthew (Jessica) Huffaker, Duchesne, Utah and 19 grandchildren whom he dearly loved. He is also survived by one sister, Tari Darlington, Michigan, and one brother, Keith Huffaker, Utah.

A visitation will be held on Monday, December 22, 2014 at the Syracuse Inverness Ward Chapel, 3426 West, Augusta Dr., Syracuse, Utah from 10:30-11:30 a.m. followed by a funeral service at noon.

Interment in the West Point City Cemetery.
