Steven Bruce Gunderson, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, May 9, 2018 during his sleep. He was born November 8, 1963 to Bruce Gunderson and Doris Heaps. Steve grew up in Sunset, Utah. He spent most of his summer days catching frogs and snakes with his sister, Connie, and neighborhood friends. He went to Sunset Jr. High and graduated from Clearfield High School. He was always very active in sports of all kinds and did well at most. He loved to fish and was most happy with a fishing pole in his hand from the time he was a little boy.

Steve met the love of his life, Denice Anderson, and they were married in 1998. They had three children: Samantha (Arthur) Merrison, Steven, and Sydney Gunderson. Steve enjoyed fishing, hunting, hiking, working on cars with his cousin Mike, and hanging out with his little dog, Minnie. Steve was a fantastic story–teller, a hard worker, and a wonderful dad, son, and brother. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He had the best laugh ever.

Steve is survived by his wife, Denice, and their children. He is also survived by his parents; Doris (Gordon) Linford, and Bruce (Sheryl) Gunderson, two sisters; Laurie Ann (Brad) Peterson, and Connie Lynn (Craig) Jensen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
