Marv" Glen Bennett was born November 1950 to Glen Harold and LaVerne Redford Bennett McQuarrie in Ogden, Utah. He passed away prematurely during a heart procedure at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane one day short of his 65th birthday. Marv graduated from Clearfield High School in 1968. He joined the Navy in 1969 as a corpsman and received an Honorable Discharge July 1975. He has spent the last many years living in TumTum, Washington. He leaves behind his loving wife, Jackie Smart Bennett of TumTum, and his stepchildren there: Jamey, Jon, Nicole and Victoria Smart and two grandchildren. During his lifetime Marv has made many friends who called him "Marvelous Marv" for the many deeds he did.

He has also been an artist of many mediums and has created many beautiful pieces for friends and loved ones. He loved building, creating, and working together on his and Jackie's animal recovery farm. He is also survived by his four children: Lisa (David) Hackett, Utah; Jeremy (Raquel) Bennett, Australia; Jason (Megan) Bennett and Jon Bennett, Utah; James (Victoria) Bennett, Rhode Island, and the mother of the Bennett children, Carolyn Bennett. Also are three sisters: Lynada (Hal) Reeder, Glenda (Kent) Draper, Elaine (Jack) Kerivan and one brother: Jeff (Cindy) Bennett all of Utah with ten grandchildren and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. We'll miss his bounding voice and personality.
