Dannie Gerald Carter, 23, was born December 20, 1990. Died August 7, 2014 in Layton, Utah.

Dannie was born in Altus, Oklahoma. The only boy born that week, amongst eight girls. Dannie lived his life with his two sisters. He lived in three countries before he was four. He was a true Air Force Child. Dannie had a hard time making friends until he moved to Utah. Here he met Bryson Higgins and Garrett Rupe. They became his other brothers. He had an adventurous spirit who spent time ghost hunting and creating their own company. Dannie spent many years with his soul mate, Monica McMerrick. They were each other's best friend.

Dannie graduated from Clearfield High School, Broadview University and attended Weber College.

Dannie is survived by his mom, Suzette Carter, his dad, Ryan Carter his other mother Melanie Carter and his three sisters, Celeste Carter, M'lee Woods and Katelin Pedersen along with his brother Wyatt Pedersen.

He also is survived by many grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Dannie leaves behind many people who love him.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Orem City Cemetery.
