Jerry Rue Hamblin, 38, passed away on Christmas Day 2014 from complications of surgery. Jerry was born on January 18, 1976 in Ogden, Utah. Jerry was raised in Clearfield and West Point, Utah and attended Clearfield High School. Jerry was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a very selfless man and he had a heart larger than life. Jerry enjoyed every aspect of the outdoors and his true peace and happiness came when he had a fishing pole and a shotgun. Jerry was a great wrestler and an avid soccer player in high school while being a backyard soccer pro with his nieces and nephews. He loved being the family’s cheerleader by attending all of their sporting events. Jerry could never get enough of the New York Yankees, Denver Broncos, and the University of Utah Utes.

Jerry is survived by his children: Tate Hamblin, Ciara Hamblin; his parents Cary and JoAnne Hamblin, Daleen Johnston; his siblings Shon (Rachael) Hamblin, Michelle (Chris) Tremea, and Cody (Chelsey) Hamblin; his grandparents Grandpa Hamblin, Grandpa Hardy, and Grandma Johnston; and his 10 favorite nieces and nephews.
