Pamela Lee Aid (Chaffee) - Class Of 1965

March 25, 1947 ~ March 24, 2015

Pamala Lee Chaffee, an adored mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, passed away surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with P.S.P. She was born March 25, 1947 in Hawthorne, Nevada to Ivan and Alberta Aid. She graduated Clearfield High School in 1965. Pam Married Wayne Dickson in 1967 and gave birth to two sons (Greg and Bryce). They were later divorced. Pam married David Chaffee in 1976, they were also later divorced.

Pam retired from Hill Air Force Base after 39 years of civil service with the U.S. government. She always put her children and grandchildren before herself and they were everything to her, as she was to them. Pam enjoyed doing any type of crafts or decorating. She loved taking cruises and going on vacations. Her favorite place to vacation at was Yellowstone. She will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

She is survived by her two sons, Greg Dickson (Melissa) of Riverdale, UT and Bryce Dickson of Kaysville. Three grandchildren, Kaitlin, Ashley and Jacob. Two sisters, Charlotte Britt (Dean) of Ogden, UT and Sharon McNees (Rodney) of Madera, CA. As well as several nieces and nephews.

 

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Jeff and Katie Zinz, Angela Otasua, Life Care Center of Bountiful and Brighton Hospice. A memorial service will be held on April 25, 2015, at Mountain Road Church, 796 S. Mountain Road, Fruit Heights, UT, from 1-2 p.m. with a luncheon from 2-4 p.m.
