Angie Michael Argerakis (Slane) - Class Of 1984

Angie Michael Argerakis Slane

On June 1, 2015 our beloved wife and mother returned to our Heavenly Father after a six year courageous battle with breast cancer. She was our warrior in pink who endured to the end.

Angie was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on October 7, 1966 to Michael and Elaine Argerakis. She was the youngest of three children.

Angie attended Clearfield High School, and after graduating she started working for the IRS. Angie had two beautiful daughters and later met the love of her life and was married on March 3, 1993. They were later sealed in the Bountiful Temple for time and all eternity on March 3, 2000. They spent 22 years together and created a wonderful family.

She loved to spend time with family and friends. A few joys in her life were to read, cook delicious Greek food, and spend time relaxing with her two dogs. She loved being YiaYia to Ryett and Paisley. She also enjoyed going to dinner with her cousins and best friends. Angie proudly worked for the IRS for 25 years and retired in 2014.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel; her children Alyssia, Mikkayla (KC King), Rebecca Archibald (Justin), Jacob (Kandyse), Rachelle Stenquist (Shane); her father, Michael; brother, George; and sister, Maria Kinney (Kevin); and her grandchildren Ryett and Paisley.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Elaine.

A private graveside service will be held on Monday, June 8, 2015.   Friends may visit family Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.

We would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. We would also like to give a special thank you to Dr. Vincent Hansen and his staff for their compassionate care and those who were by her side during her fearless journey.
