Steven Bruce Worsley - Class Of 1974

Steven Bruce Worsley passed away August 23, 2015 at his home.

Steven was born on October 23, 1955 to Devon and Isabelle in West Covina, California. His early years were spent in California. He lived in Illinois prior to residing in Utah.

He played high school football and basketball. He enjoyed sports. Steve cherished the friendships of his 1974 Clearfield High graduation class.  Shorty after graduation, he married Sharee Crookston, the mother of his six children.

Steve worked for Smith’s Food King, Clover Club, and Utah Transit Authority.  He has served in numerous callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. 

He is preceded in death by his son, Sollie Newell Worsley, father DeVon, and grandparents.  He is survived by his children: Shaylyn (John) Bouwer, Steven D. Worsley, Shaundra (Ricardo) Avalos, Shane Worsley, Sheldon (Stacey) Worsley, grandchildren: Paige (Nick), Tyler, Sullivan, Coleman, Brendan, Tamsyn, Chase, Kalyssa, Braxton, Devan, Jayden, Jace, mother Isabelle (John) Schwartz, brothers:  Walter Hoeltje, Donald (Al) Hoeltje, and Keith Worsley.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 10 a.m. at the Clearfield 7th Ward, 350 N. Vine Street, Clearfield.  Friends may visit family Saturday from 9 to 9:45 a.m. at the church.

Interment, Logan City Cemetery at 1 p.m.
