In Memory

Richard Neil Epps - Class Of 1967

Richard Neil Epps, born in Clearfield, Utah on June 16th 1948, left us unexpectedly on Saturday, September 22nd 2012 from a sudden heart attack. He was married to the love of his life, KayeDawn Epps for 41 years.
Richard's first love was his family; his children; Troy, Greg, Justin, Eric and Melinda meant the world to him. He adored his eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He loved to wrestle with, tease, steal their desserts, and speak gibberish with them before sending them back to their parents. Rich served his country for 32 years. He served as an infantryman in the Vietnam War; retiring as the Command Sergeant Major for the 96th Regional Support Command. He also retired as Supervisory Logistics Managements Specialist at Fort Douglas, Utah. His latest job was as a school bus driver in Wasatch County. He absolutely loved all of his school bus children.
Some of Richard's hobbies included camping, fishing with his family, and woodworking. Everyone who knew him knew the first place to look for him was in his shop. He was incredibly talented in woodworking, especially in woodturning. His work is found displayed in all of his loved-one's homes. Rich was an exemplary Husband, Father, Grandfather, Soldier, Friend and Man. We love and miss him very much.
In lieu of flowers family requests donations be made to an account in Richard's name at any America First Credit Union.
