Scott Andrew Neilson, 55, passed away June 30, 2021 at his home in Henrieville.  He was born May 6, 1966 to Doyle and Kathryn Sheppard Neilson in Provo.  He grew up in Sunset, Utah and attended Clearfield High School.

Throughout his life, he accomplished many things. He was proud of taking care of the Henrieville City Cemetery, becoming a volunteer fire chief of Henrieville City and being part of the volunteer Search and Rescue.

He married Kym Sjoberg and had a daughter, Baylee Drew. They later divorced.

After moving to southern Utah he met the love of his life, Kelsey Biegel and they had a daughter, Chloe.

He worked for the National Park Service at Bryce Canyon. He was most known for his outgoing, fun, loving ways.

He is survived by his daughters: Baylee Drew (Charles) McClaren, NE; Chloe Elysse Neilson and fiancée, Kelsey Elysse Biegel, both of Henrieville; 2 grandchildren; mother, Kathryn, Henrieville; siblings: James  (Shelley) Neilson, Henrieville; Kathryn (Michael) Murphy, Clearfield; Steven (Sheila) Neilson, Layton.

Preceded in death by his father, Doyle; and grandparents: Varcel Neilson; Frank and Lula Moore; Lyman and Elva Sheppard.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Henrieville Ward Chapel, where friends may call Tuesday evening from 6-7 p.m. or Wednesday morning from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.  Burial will be in the Henrieville Cemetery.
