Gerald Bowen Bush was born on March 28, 1951 in Ogden, Utah to Warren Lavere Bush Jr. and Shirley Mae Jessop.

Gerald died August 15, 2022 in Florida and is buried at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Sumter County, Florida. At the time of his death he was living in Homosassa Florida.

Gerald graduated from Clearfield High School, Utah in 1969.

Gerald served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War.
