Our dear friend James "Jay" Shaw passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind a legacy of love, generosity, and unwavering devotion to his family. As a father, Jay’s children were always his first priority—his heart and soul centered on ensuring Mason and Nico were cared for, loved, and set up for a bright future. In his own words, Jay often said, “If anything happens to me, make sure Mason and Nico are taken care of.” Today, I am honoring that wish by starting this GoFundMe campaign for his beloved sons.

The expenses involved in handling Jay’s estate, dividing his legacy, and navigating the challenges ahead will be significant. We want to ensure Mason and Nico have the support they need to move forward with strength and stability, just as Jay would have wanted. I am working closely with Jay’s lawyer and his boys to manage this process, and I will allocate a portion of the funds raised toward a probate lawyer (unless a will is discovered). Any remaining funds will be split evenly between Mason and Nico to help them through the difficult months ahead as we allow the dust to settle.

We understand that others may also be seeking support during this heartbreaking time, but Jay’s sons are directly involved in bringing him home and honoring his memory.
