Bradley Jay Adams

Bradley Jay Adams was born April 15, 1958 in Ogden Utah, the first son of Douglas J Adams and Beverly K Simpson. He passed away October 24, 2022 of sepsis, at Ogden Regional Hospital. Brad grew up in Ogden, Reno & Sparks Nevada, Kanesville (West Haven) & Clinton Utah

He graduated from Clearfield High School in 1976, where he excelled in music & track. And later went on to earn a degree in accounting from Weber State University. He worked the majority of his career at Iomega, & then at Dakota Mills Cabinetry. He married Judy Ann Thurgood August 10, 1979. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple.

Brad began playing piano at an early age and was the primary pianist while still a member of the primary. He & Craig played in many musical groups together, starting with Toll Bridge in 1975, & lastly with 66 & Main in 2015. He shared his talents in many ways and loved being a part of the special needs mutual program for several years. He loved to play softball & basketball, spending time with his family, & was an avid Jazz fan. He was also an expert guitar hero player. He is survived by his mother Beverly Watkins, in-laws Carl and JoAnn Thurgood, Children RyAnn (Tony) Henry, Burke (Nykol) Adams, & Lauren (Andrew) Brown.

Grandchildren Austin & RyLee Henry, Ayden, Kashlyn, & Ace Adams, Kru, Matyx, Journey, & Aris Brown. Siblings Craig (Pam Lewis, Maria Eugenia) Sandy (Bill) Boynton, Mark (LeeAnne), Scott (Jennifer) Adams, & Marcy (Lance) Craythorn. Brad was preceded in death by his wife Judy, his father Douglas & step mother Kay, step father Mose Watkins, grandparents Harold & Kathryn Simpson, Norris & Bessie Adams, & sister-in-law Cheryl Adams.

He suffered a stroke in July of 2020 & has lived at Mt Ogden Skilled Nursing since that time. The family would like to thank the staff at Mt Ogden, as well as the ICU staff at Ogden Regional for all their loving care. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 28, 2022 at 11 a.m. at the LDS chapel located at 1112 S 1525 W, Syracuse, UT. Friends May visit with family on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the same location. Interment, Syracuse City Cemetery.
