Clay E. Daley, 23 of 4280 S, 1050 W. died Tuesday, July 13 1982 in the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City of injuries suffered in a motor cross competition racing accident Friday, July 9 1982, in Salt Lake city.

He ws born July 28 1958, in Ogden, a son of J Larry and Arlene Richins Daley. He was self-employed woodcraftsman. He lived all his life in the Ogden area. He graduated from Clearfield High School in 1976. He was a member of the LDS Church. He was active in motorcyle competition.

Surviving are hid father, J Larry Daley, Ogden: His mother, Arlene Daley, Ogden: two brothers, Larry daley and Brian Daley, both of Ogden, His grandparents, Mr.and Mrs. Ellis W Richins, Ogden. Funeral services will be held at the graveside Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Ogden CIty Cemetery. There will be a viewing Friday from 6 to 8 p.m at Lindquist and Sons Colonial Chapel in Ogden for close friends and family.
