Jared Allen Maylin
Oct 26, 1981 — Aug 3, 2026
Jared Allen Maylin, age 44, of Roy, Utah, passed away unexpectedly on August 3, 2026, on what marked his 19th wedding anniversary with his beloved wife.
Jared was born on October 26, 1981, in Ogden, Utah, to Allen and Kathryn Maylin, and was raised in Clearfield, Utah. He was best known for his incredible sense of humor, his quick wit, and his ability to bring laughter and light into any room he walked into. Though his time was cut short, he lived life full speed and was a loyal friend who made countless lasting memories with family and friends who will forever miss his jokes and bright spirit.
He worked as a foreman at Canyon Pipeline, where he was a natural leader and deeply loved by his coworkers. He was also a lifelong Denver Broncos fan who rarely missed a game. He was a proud and loyal member of his motorcycle club and loved riding his Harley, finding brotherhood and freedom on an open road. Above all, Jared loved being home, surrounded by his family, he cherished his children and grandchildren deeply, and his beloved pets would get excited every day when they heard his work truck backing into the driveway.
Jared is survived by his wife, Mandie Maylin, with whom he loved fiercely for 19 years; his daughters, Callie Jo, Jordan, Samantha and son Connor, his two granddaughters, Milani and Haizley, with another precious granddaughter on the way; his sisters, Tammy of West Haven, and Leslie (Nicholas) Pead of Roy; and many nieces and nephews who absolutely adored him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Kathryn Maylin.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday August 15, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Lindquist Syracuse Mortuary, 869 South 2000 West. Friends may visit with family and friends, Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.
