Douglas Jay Mckissick passed away peacefully August 30, 2026 at the age of 64

Doug was born in Ogden Utah on January 31, 1962 to Robert Lee Mckissick and Carma Lois Mortensen Mckissick

Doug was raised in Clearfield, where he attended Clearfield High School and graduated class of 1980. Doug proudly served his country in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1986

Doug is survived by his daughter Brittany Gallegos, step daughters Angelic Gallegos and Melissa Leal. Grandsons Alex Gallegos, Chris Gallegos and Isak Mata. Step grandchildren Laryssa, Neveah, Adrien, Ny'eli (Leo) and Manuel. Mother Carma Mckissick, and 6 siblings Terry Mckissick, Paula (Chris) Higgs, Diana Webber, Tracy (Scott) Wiggill, Brent (Jayme) Mckissick and John (Sherry) Thompson, 6 nieces and 2 nephews. He had many friends he considered family especially Cherish (Isaac) Peepo and her 2 boys

He is proceeded in death by his father Robert Mckissick, 1 niece and 1 nephew. Chosen family Boyd and Bonnie Jensen

He loved camping fishing and barbecuing with family. Doug's greatest blessings were his daughter and grandsons

His family will be hosting a small gathering to celebrate his life at a later date
