She was the manager of an auto parts store where I worked.

I was a pretty good mechanic in school. I can remember working on one of the teachers' cars for auto shop. Not sure who's or what we were doing to it. I just remember we had to take it out for a "test drive" after we worked on it. We ended up getting pulled over in front of the school for speeding. We were in our overalls with no ID, and in someone else's car. Mr. Childs (the shop teacher) had to come out and vouch for us. Luckily no ticket, just a lot of embarassment.

I enlisted in the Marine Corps while still in high school. Went in right after graduation (July 1969). Went to boot camp in San Diego, CA., communications school in Pensacola, FL., then was stationed in Japan for final 2 years of service. Was married the first time in 1970 and divorced in 1975. Remarried in 1979. Lived in Salt Lake City, UT., until 1976. Moved to St. Joseph, MO. and lived there until 1984. Moved back to Utah and started to work for then Minit Lube. They changed name to Q Lube, then purchased by Jiffy Lube. Stayed with them for 18 years. Worked as a consultant with iBoats.com for 1 year, then started with S & E Quick Lube Distributors in 2004. S & E was acquired by another automotive distributor. I remained with them till October 2019.

The quality of the Faculty when I attended. They really seemed to care, and were interested in the well being of the students. If not for a number of them, I don't know where I would have ended up!
