Kenneth Payne

LDS Mission to Paris, France 1965-1968. Joined the Davis County Sheriff's Office Jan 20, 1968 as midnight dispatcher and midnight jailer. Met, dated and married cute little red haired girl who moved into Syracuse while I was in France. Attended Weber State- graduated with BS degree in Police Science with minor in Communications.
Drafted July 1970 US Army. Communications Specialist E4 Nike Hercules Missle Battallion, Germany.
Returned to Davis County Sheriff's Office at end of military duty. Currently Division Commander (Captain) assigned to Emergency Services Division.
Responsible for Emergency Management, Search and Rescue, Hostage Negotiations, 911, Public Information (PIO).
Also have part time job for past 34 years as an investigator for the State Medical Examiners Officers investigating homicides, suicides and strange, wierd and unexplained deaths in Davis and Weber Counties. Crime Scene and Death Investigation instructor for past 31 years.
