After graduating from CHS I entered U.S. Army. I married my CHS sweetheart in June 1966. I was then sent to Vietnam. After a year there I was stationed at Tooele Army Depot in Utah. I took college courses there. In the fall of 1968 I started at USU graduating with a BS degree in education/engineering in 1971. I taught for two years at Granger HS in SLC. The LDS Church asked if I would be interested in developing an engineering-technology program at the Church College of Western Samoa. I accepted and spent about three years teaching and developing a program for the College. I then returned to the U.S. and Utah and took a postion at North Summit High School in Coalville. I spent the next 25 years teaching there, and also teaching for WSU and UVSC (UVU). In about 1998 I went back to USU and earned an MEd degree; then while in the eduction mode I earned an Ed.D degree from USU in 2005. I began working in voc rehab OP-psychiatery in 2005 at the VA Hospital. I enjoy my work - it is a good work.
My life is centered on family and church. I've had the opportunity to serve in various leadership positions; I'm presently in a Branch Presidency of a "Correction Facility." I've had the opportunity to experience wonderful things while serving in these callings.
I love and apprieciate my family and the experiences I have with them. Grand-kids are my major source of joy and happiness.
