I enjoyed my years at Clearfield High School. Loved choir!! I remember the food fights in the cafeteria at the end of the year. I very much appreciated Mr. Davis. Great teacher!! I learned a lot from Mrs. Lowe, even though she made me nervous at times. Loved the excitement at the basketball games. Some of my best memories were getting to meet the people who became great friends. Loved modern dance. I remember the stomps!! I was very much a shyer person back then. Definitely grateful for all of the amazing people I got to know. I very much appreciated Mrs. Miller, my counselor. She went to bat for me to take drafting classes but back then it wasn’t okay for a girl to take those so I wasn’t able to.

Graduated in 1978 and moved out of my parents’ home and rented a room just off of the campus of Weber State. Met my future husband at a night at the Upper Level in Clearfield. Got married February of 1981. We lived in Ogden until June of 1984. Husband got a job following graduation from Weber State in San Diego so we moved in July to Southern California. We raised our 9 kids here and I worked as a personal shopper on a part time basis while raising our family. I also worked for 3 1/2 years for Amtrak as an reservation agent. My husband and I are blessed with 7 grandchildren as of right now. Even though health-wise, I have some daily issues that I deal with as does my husband, we feel extremely grateful for the life we have established here in Southern California in Riverside.
